Are you ready to dissolve your ego?

Updated: Aug 12, 2020

How do we dissolve the ego?? What is the ego exactly?

I have been contemplating this as I am ready to get out of my own drama and start enjoying life more!

Ego is defined as a personal sense of self importance or self esteem.

Tips to keep yourself in check and release your ego drama:

Stop blaming, hating, resenting, and judging. Hold yourself accountable for your thought and energy patterns.

Choose to just let it all go. Vow to stop focusing on BS.

Choose to be peaceful. Mind your own business. Focus on love. Let go of the need to always find fault in others and the world itself.

Accept where you are and where you have been.

Work with what you have. Love yourself deeply and see the goodness around you. Stop hating yourself for what you are not or what you think you can't do/have in your life. Release the mental hold of all those who have wronged you. Release the negative stories about your life. Don't take things personally. Everyone and everything is your teacher. Release the blame of self and others having to do what has " gone wrong in your life" the truth is we may never know the whole truth. We can seek wisdom and discernment going forward.

Keep your superiority complex in check.

Another ego trap! We tell ourselves we are better than others for so many reasons.

You can tell yourself I am more responsible and smarter than them.

I am more spiritual and I have made better decisions than others.

I have certain things because I am special.

Others are selfish users.

Thinking you have created a better life than them. That you are a better manifestor.

Feeling like you are baby sitting everyone! Telling yourself that others are just plain stupid.

The list goes on and on.

Leaders keep you ego in check. Leaders can compare their lives to others but the truth is we just can't compare because everyone has their place and path. Everyone is valuable. Being superior is a burden that alienates us from others! Vow to live and let live judgement free. Superiority leaves us alienated from others and closes us off from true intimacy and even kindness, sabotaging our relationships closing us off from unity.

Ego-less living is heart centered. Enjoying simple pleasures. Valuing what is truly important.

Honoring the sacredness of life and all. Be kind, mature and productive. Embrace joyous innocence!

Appreciate where you are at. Know that you are a work in progress. Honor and respect all people.

Love yourself and the whole world. Make the best of what you've got. Create your own happiness. Learn to be at peace with the world and embody compassion. The trick is that this is all for YOU. This is the greatest gift that you can give yourself.
