10 Ways to Overcome Feeling Psychically Overloaded

Psychic overload is a feeling of being emotionally or mentally overloaded. Feeling extremely restless and ungrounded. It can feel like being mentally overloaded and tuned into everything and everyone one all at once. It can feel like you can't relax. We can get psychically overloaded from planetary shifts, collective energies, overworking or being in harsh environments.
Here are some things you can do to feel better when this happens.
1. Music or sound healing- Listening to music. Using singing bowls, tuning forks or drumming. Sound helps us reset to the rhythms of the earth and the universe which calms our entire being.
2.Nature. Get outside. Hug a tree. Touch the earth. Garden. Being with animals. Go to the visit a body of water.
3. Yoga and breath-work- I love my Yoga tools Hatha yoga, kriya yoga, vinyasa etc. It is all great for harmonizing body, mind and spirit.
4. Rub your hands or feet. Doing something with your hands like cooking, art crafts knitting. Mudras.This gets your energy out of your head and is very grounding. Reflexology is great.
5. Meditation and visualization- Have some mediation audios or exercises around. Mantras, affirmations and prayers are great also. Have tools that you can choose from.
6. Clearing- Salt bath. Chakra balancing. Visualizations and music. I also love angel meditations that clear and bring in light and higher vibrations.
7. Get grounded. Nature. Movement. Visualize a grounding cord to the earth. Intend on being grounded and present in your body. Stomp your feet. Focus on connecting with earth and being one with it.
8. Release psychic attachments. Let go of everything and everything. Forgive. Make peace. You may be having a telepathic conversation or arguments . Pay attention if you have psychic doorways open to people and places. We can also be stuck in a memory and even wishing we were back at a certain time in our lives. Be present in the now. We can be plugged into 10 places in time all at one and connected to 10 people too. That seems overwhelming! Be present and aware of this. We can also tune into earth shifts or if someone we know is going through a difficult time we can be super tuned into them. It is important to balance our inner healer. Send a prayer and let go. Trust that God and the angels are watching over everyone and ask what your place is.
9. Own your point of focus. Are you hyper focused on worry or being mad at someone? You can shift that by doing something fun, productive, or nourishing. Say a positive idea or affirmation to reclaim your head space. Own your time and energy.
10. Connect with Color and Beauty. Go window shopping. Look at art. Color, shape and beauty helps us to become present and open our heart with awe! Read poetry, listen to a symphony, get a book on your favorite artist.
Know thyself and what works for you. If you feel psychically overloaded don't panic, just tune in intuitively and ask what do I need right now? Take a deep breath and listen! Have a tool kit of fun and therapeutic resources that you can choose from. This may include hobbies and also healing modalities. Have stuff ready to choose from. I have a healing kit with tuning forks, crystals, orgone pyramids, flower sprays and essential oils. I also have craft projects, art supplies, books and movies that I love! Keep things that make you feel good around you! I have a large collection of books on energy healing and meditation. Plus I know a lot of techniques for grounding and self healing. So I have lot of things to choose from. Every now and then when I feel really overloaded with stuff I still panic! Stay grounded and know that you have solutions all around you! You are safe in the universe! You are in charge of your psychic powers! They work for you not against you.
